Sonnerie Prof is designed to help teachers track the time remaining until the next school bell.
User accounts
No account is required to use Sonnerie Prof.
Data stored on the device
School sites, bell times, timetables and preferences are stored locally on the device. Some configuration data is shared locally between the app and its extensions using an iOS App Group. The Live Activity, including its Lock Screen, Always-On and Dynamic Island presentations, runs locally through ActivityKit and does not rely on any remote update service.
Location
Location access is optional. When allowed, it is used only to determine which configured school site is closest so the app can select the appropriate schedule. Location is not sent to the developer and is not used for advertising or tracking.
Optional tips
Sonnerie Prof offers optional consumable In-App Purchases that let users support development. No purchase unlocks any feature. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit; the developer does not receive your payment card details.
The app stores a local flag after a successful tip so automatic support reminders stop on that installation.
Advertising and tracking
Sonnerie Prof contains no advertising SDK and does not perform cross-app or cross-site tracking.
iCloud sharing and backup
If you choose to share a school site’s bell schedule, Sonnerie Prof stores only its name and bell times in the public CloudKit database. Its location and your personal timetable are never published. Shared data can be accessed by anyone who has the code generated by the app. Do not include personal or confidential information in the name of a shared school site.
If you choose iCloud backup, your timetable, teaching-week names, school sites, bell times and configured site locations are stored in your private CloudKit database to allow a complete restore. The backup content is placed in an encrypted field and remains associated with your iCloud account.
These features are optional and are not used to update the Live Activity. Apple processes iCloud data under its own terms and privacy policies.
Analytics and developer-operated servers
Sonnerie Prof contains no third-party analytics service. Location is never sent to the developer. Apart from features you choose to use through iCloud and Apple system services, the app does not send your school sites, bell times or timetables to a server operated by the developer.
Apple services
The app uses Apple system technologies such as Core Location, CloudKit, WidgetKit, ActivityKit and StoreKit. These services are subject to Apple's terms and privacy policies.
